Let me tell you about the price of gas...

Here's an article from The Globe and Mail, in which I am quoted, concerning Petro-Canada's recent use of YouTube to explain to consumers why gas and oil are so expensive. These spots (dubbed "Pump Talk," which sounds like another sort on-line video that you may enjoy) are at an interesting intersection of three trends: the explosion of on-line video, the consumer's increasing need for authenticity from brands, and the fact that corporations are trying to establish more meaningful relationships with their consumers. Which all sounds great - but you're still paying a buck-oh-five a litre.
